DiveClan, the winged and swift
Intro
"Oh aren't you precious! Your so cute I want to eat you up! Oh don't worry, I don't actually eat kits. Hmm? Who am I? I am the leader of DiveClan! My name is Ripplestar. This is the nursery, this is where you'll sleep until you become an apprentice! What's an apprentice? Oh little one. You'll learn soon enough. And when you do, your life in DiveClan will begin."
Camp
The camp is located on top of a mountain that is quite hard to walk to. It over looks a small valley that is prey rich, and almost untouched. The camp includes a large cave, and a small plateau on the outside of the cave where the cats use as a
Leader's Den- The leader's den is a large, stone den with a sloped roof and smooth walls that are lined with small gems. It is the closest to the back of the cave, and has a network of tunnels in the back that used to be bat tunnels, which leads to the nursery. It has a curtain of ivy and lichen covering the entrance to the den, and rocks that conceal the tunnel.
Nursery- The nursery is the most well protected den in the camp. Having a secret network of tunnels to a large cave behind the camp, it provides a hidden escape route for the queens and kits if need be. The normal entrance is covered in lichen and ivy, creating a very private area for the queens and kits. The inside on the den is very large and smooth, with enough room to fit five queens and eight kits. There is a smaller cave in the back that is covered with ivy and lichen, this is the den for the newborns.
Medicine Cat's Den- The medicine cat's den is a den with many large niches which can be used to store separate herbs. It is quite large, and has three chambers. One large chamber is used for the herbs, a slightly smaller one is used for the medicine cat's nests, and the largest chamber of the three is used for sick cats, and has a small pool of water. Each area is concealed with ivy and lichen, along with the entrance to the den.
Warrior's Den- The warrior's den is the largest den in the camp, and can hold quite a few cats. There is the main chamber, which is the largest of the chambers, and there there is a second, somewhat smaller chamber which is where the senior warriors sleep. It is concealed with ivy and lichen like every over den in the camp.
Apprentice's Den- The apprentice's den is a medium sized den that is the closest to the entrance to camp, and therefor the cold. Despite this, it is quite warm, and is concealed by a thick layer of lichen and ivy. It is very smooth, and can fit many nests in it.
Elder's Den- The elder's den is the warmest den in camp, and is the closest to the natural hot spring by the camp. It is very large and spacious, almost as large as the nursery. It is coated in small gems, and is protected by a large, thick layer of ivy and lichen.
Fresh-Kill Pile- The fresh-kill pile is a small cave near the leaders den, and can hold many different kinds of prey. It is insulated by ivy and lichen, to try to keep it good longer.
Meeting Crystal the Meeting Crystal is a prismatic crystal that sticks out from the wall above the leaders den. This crystal is used for clan meetings, and only the leader and apprentices being named warriors can stand there.
Territory
The territory consists of a large area near the camp's mountain, and includes many different types of terrains and areas.
Cave of the Whispering Wind The Cave of the Whispering Wind is a cave close to camp that's walls are gems, and whose floor is smooth. This cave seems to hold the whispers of cats long gone, and is used by the leader and medicine cats to communicate with StarClan.
Soft Meadow- The Soft Meadow is a meadow that is filled with soft, thick grass that is good at cushioning falls. This is where many of the cats train, but sometimes it can be used to hunt, as rabbits can occasionally be found there.
Misty River- The Misty River is a river that flows through the valley and contains all kinds of mountain fish. You can also find otters and turtles, which make a rare treat when caught. It is clear, and the bottom is just pebbles. It holds a tradition for being the place where cats get their mate's stone, the stone that a cat gives to the one they want to become mates with, since many loose gems can be found here, and the occasional golden stone, which is fabled to give the couple everlasting love, amazing luck, and many kits. So far only the mates of to-be leaders, or to be leaders, have found these fabled golden stones.
Lullaby Forest- The Lullaby Forest is the main hunting forest in DiveClan's territory, and contains many forest animals. You can find mice, shrews, squirrels, and other types of forest prey, but wolves also lurk in the forest. There are also deer here, but they are too large to hunt, unless it is a fawn, but even then, it requires many warriors to take down. It is called the Lullaby Forest because when it rains, the sound of the rain on the leaves sounds like a lullaby.
Nesting Cliff- The Nesting Cliff is the most prey rich area of the territory during newleaf. This area is a large cliff on the edge of the territory where eagles, hawks, and other large birds come to lay there eggs. It is very dangerous, but the rewards are great and a large eagle can feed the whole clan for a moon. Apprentices are forbidden to come here during nesting time, but they are used as starting points for diving practice.
Hot Springs- The Hot Springs are naturally formed hot springs very close to camp. No animals are found here normally, but there will be the occasional mountain lion of wolf here. This is used to soak worn muscles and aching bones, but they should not be used for to long, because it is possible to overheat.
