Roleplay Time and How It Works
Aging System
The aging system here on ChimeraClan works like this:
1 moon is equivalent to 1/2 week in real life, thus...
2 moons is equivalent to 1 week in real life.
Therefore...
Kits
i. A kit is made an apprentice at 6 moons of age.
ii. From birth (0 moons) to apprenticeship (6 moons) it takes about 3 weeks in real life.
Apprentices
i. An apprentice is usually apprenticed at 12 moons of age, however, this may differ depending on the apprentice's performance and/or behavior.
ii. From birth (0 moons) to average warriorship (12 moons) it takes about 6 weeks in real life.
iii. From apprenticeship (6 moons) to average warriorship (12 moons) it takes about 3 weeks in real life.
Warriors/Elders
i. A warrior would probably retire to the elder's den at around 72+ moons of age (equivalent to 6+ years) though this can vary depending on other factors (i.e. An injury that prevents that cat from being a warrior any longer).
ii. The maximum age a cat can remain a warrior at is 84 moons (equivalent to 7 years).
iii. From birth to average elderhood (72 moons) it takes about 36 weeks in real life.
iv. From birth to late elderhood (84 moons) it takes about 42 weeks in real life.
v. From average warriorship (12 moons) to average elderhood (72 moons) it takes about 30 weeks in real life.
vi. From average warriorship (12 moons) to late elderhood (84 moons) it takes about 36 weeks in real life.
vii. An elder will live for between 84 moons and 168 moons (equivalent to between 7 and 14 years), but the average age life expectancy is between 84 moons and 108 moons (equivalent to between 7 and 9 years) due to harsh conditions.
Queens
i. A queen is usually pregnant for 2 moons, which is about 1 week in real-life.
Liquid Time
ChimeraClan supports liquid time.
This means that you aren't forced to remain in a set timeline, and that you are free to post in simultaneous threads with the same character.
However, the events your character takes place in have to fit somewhere in the greater timeline.
For example of what you can't have, if in one thread, Examplepelt is out hunting at sunhigh, but in another thread it's the evening of the same day and he says that he spent the day battle training when he was clearly not.
What you can have is this:
Testpaw is training with his mentor at sunhigh in one thread, and in another thread where it's evening of the same day where he chats about his training.

For how time works in the roleplay, it's liquid time, so you can have your characters in multiple threads at the same time, even with some of the same other characters there too. Each thread then kind of works in it's 'own time-line' as in if Bobfoot dies in one thread he's in, he can finish up the other thread, but, obviously can't continue on for long since he's dead xD Or like an apprentice who was named a warrior would stay an apprentice in the current thread they're in till it's finished unless they like leave and come back in threads like the clearing or such. Hopefully that makes some sense xD
